Mercer Health & Benefits expands small business capabilities via Digital Insurance

NEW YORK (September 20, 2006) - Mercer Health & Benefits announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement with Digital Insurance, Inc. to expand its services for Mercer’s small group benefits customers.

Under the agreement, Digital Insurance will staff a dedicated Mercer Health & Benefits sales and service team that leverages state of the art infrastructure to more broadly support the unique needs of small employers nationally.

Digital Insurance will provide each Mercer Health & Benefits small business client with a dedicated account management team consisting of an account manager, account coordinator and sales consultant. These teams are geographically focused to proactively address a client’s strategic benefit needs while assisting them in a variety of ways including day-to-day claims and billing issue resolution as well as overall renewal management.
