Digital Insurance adds 6 to growing list of brokers
using employee benefits service center
J.W. Flynn Company, Bolton & Company, John Burnham, Member Insurance Agency,
Rigg Darlington and Knight Insurance Agency sign partnership agreements
ATLANTA – (August 19, 2004) Digital Insurance Inc. announced it has signed agreements with six additional brokerage firms to enhance the level of day-to-day service and product sales for a portion of their small group benefits business.
The new partners include J.W. Flynn Company in Indianapolis, Ind., Bolton & Company in Pasadena, Calif., John Burnham Insurance Services in San Diego, Calif., Member Insurance Agency in McHenry, Ill., Rigg Darlington Group in Exton, Pa., and Knight Insurance Agency in Glendale, Calif. Under these partnership agreements, Digital Insurance serves as an extension of each firm’s small business unit helping them meet the unique benefits needs of their smallest employer groups.
Many firms across the country are finding it increasingly difficult to efficiently manage and sell to this smaller market segment. The resource burden to maintain and grow their small group business has increased while compensation is either fixed or reduced. Because of these challenges, many firms have turned to Digital Insurance to complement their operations.
"The economic, legislative and human resources challenges our clients face are ever changing and increasing,” said Joann Parrino, Vice President of Employee Benefits at Bolton & Company. “Our mission is to provide our clients with innovative and cost effective insurance products and services to assist them in this changing climate. We are able to leverage the technology and enhanced service levels that Digital Insurance provides to ensure a best-practices delivery model to our Small Group client base."
“Each partnership that comes on board is different,” said Mike Sullivan, EVP and Chief Marketing Officer of Digital Insurance. “Yet our focus remains singular. Provide excellent customer service to the smallest end of the employer marketplace in a way that both increases retention rates and expands the customer base via new groups we sell for our partners.”
Digital Insurance provides each small business client with a dedicated account management team consisting of an account manager, account coordinator and sales consultant. These teams follow a customer-focused process designed to proactively reach out to each client at least six times per year and assist them in a variety of ways, including the renewal process, claims and billing issues.
