Deb Loughlin is vice
president at Digital Insurance, the nation's leading employee
benefits agency specializing in insurance for small businesses and
mid-sized companies.
Prior to becoming an independent
agent, Loughlin operated Montgomery Schoolhouse Inc, a wooden toy
manufacturer founded by her family. She spent a good deal of time
in the mid-90s advocating for small businesses and employee
benefits at the state legislature.
With her affinity for the insurance
industry, Loughlin became an independent agent in 1997 and joined
forces with Bob Gaydos a year later to create the Benefit Group of
New England (BGNE), which served more than 300 employers with
nearly 20,000 members.
In 2011, BGNE was acquired by Digital
Insurance. Under the Digital brand, Loughlin is focused on
strategic planning and executive-level client work for current and
new business. She sits on the advisory board for MVP HealthCare and
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont.
