Digital Advantage Family Legal Plan

The impact of a challenging economy -- along with an aging population -- continues to add many layers of stress to American business owners and their employees. Many of your employees are facing issues and decisions they're not equipped to deal with.

In fact, the American Bar Association estimates that more than 70 percent of U.S. households found the need for a lawyer in the last 12 months. Unfortunately, most consumers are uncertain how to select one. Legal and other family issues are often brought to the workplace, negatively affecting not only employee productivity, but often many co-workers and supervisors.

Digital has recently introduced its Digital Advantage Family Legal Plan as a solution for clients to help their employees find competent, affordable advice and assistance. For a low monthly fee of $12.50 (paid for by the employer or the employee), employees and families (including elderly parents) have access to a vast nationwide network of experienced attorneys with specialties appropriate for the needs of most families. The broad range of services include: credit negotiation and protection, bankruptcy, DUI, traffic tickets, divorce settlement, child/spousal support collection, identity theft -- and more.

Covered family members, including parents, can receive assistance with the development of wills (living and standard) and the review and assistance of documents related to the sale or purchase of a home. Each covered person receives a personal advocate that helps them identify legal issues and provides assistance in finding local (guaranteed within a 23-mile radius) legal resources with the appropriate specialty. Lawyers provide free initial consultation and most services are covered by the plan or available at a discounted fee. Additional assistance is provided for debt counseling, savings coaching and asset protection.

Digital's special pricing of $12.50 is substantially less than other competing plans in the market. Dependent children, spouses and eligible parents of both the employee and spouse are covered and can use the services as often as needed. Once enrolled in the plan, employees are covered until they choose not to participate. There are no plan renewals, and over 94 percent of participants typically renew from year-to-year. The plan is available in all states.

This is an extremely affordable means of providing your employees with additional peace-of-mind and is uniquely available by simply calling your Digital benefits consultant today.
